“FLORIDA MANATEE FESTIVAL” – Crystal River

With something to please everyone, the 39th Annual Florida Manatee Festival is the place to go!  Rated by attendees as one of the best outdoor events in Citrus County! Featuring a wide selection of delicious cuisine choices. Manatee boat tours with participating local guides with M.E.T.A. (Manatee Eco Tourism Association) will take you to their favorite manatee watch spots for a chance to see our favorite floating friends up close without getting in the water!

Tickets for the boat tours can be purchased at the festival.

World-famous Three Sisters Springs is the perfect setting to view the majestic manatee in its natural environment without getting your feet wet! Hundreds of manatees flock to the springs every year during Manatee Season as refuge from the cold, utilizing the springs’ consistent 72-degree waters to regulate their body temperature at a healthy level. 

Musical entertainment will be ongoing from four stages. 

Additionally, a vast array of fine art, craft, commercial, and non-profit vendors will line the streets alongside our resident businesses.

For the cultural connoisseurs, “Art in the Park” will be held in Crystal River’s beautiful Town Square, offering the perfect setting to browse and purchase an original piece of art.

You’re in for an unforgettable Gasparilla Invasion Brunch Cruise, as we travel to meet the Pirate Ship Jose Gaspar and the Pirate Invasion Flotilla as it departs Ballast Point in Hillsborough Bay. Enjoy close-up views while cruising alongside the flotilla as it crosses the Bay. Yacht StarShip is the largest vessel in the flotilla and guests will experience a once in a lifetime viewing of the Invasion. Before the flotilla turns into the downtown channel, Yacht StarShip will exit the flotilla and proceed ahead, providing a great view as the hundreds of boats condense into a small channel.

Subject to Coast Guard approval, the cruise may return to the Convention Center dock and remain dockside where we will have front row views and witness the flotilla as the pirate ship arrives at 1 PM.

A1A—The Official and Original Jimmy Buffett Tribute Show was born in 1991 when lead vocalist, guitarist, and keyboardist Jeff Pike invited drummer and harmonica player Scott Nickerson, founder of the first Jimmy Buffett Parrot Head Club and Parrot Heads In Paradise, to join him in his already successful solo tribute to Jimmy Buffett.

Keepin' The Party Going Since 1992. The band won a Jimmy Buffett Sound Alike Contest for Margaritaville Records, bringing them to the attention of Jimmy Buffett and his organization. They were granted the use of the name A1A - The Official and Original Jimmy Buffett Tribute Show through Jimmy and his management.
In 1993, A1A was invited to appear in Jimmy Buffett's MTV Video, 'Fruitcakes.'
In 1995, Jeff Pike performed "Cheeseburger In Paradise" with Jimmy Buffett and The Coral Reefer Band at Lakewood Amphitheater in Atlanta, Georgia. The show was recorded and released as "Jimmy Buffett's Barometer Soup Radio Special." This show and Jeff's performance still receive regular rotation on Jimmy Buffett's "Radio Margaritaville" on SiriusXM Radio.

Jeff Pike and A1A performance are an experience and a driving force that has helped the band remain the first, foremost, and longest-running Jimmy Buffett Tribute Show in history.
