DAYTONA – VERO BEACH

·    Our first stop will be for lunch (OYO) at Volusia Mall in Daytona Beach. Take a break & dig in to something delicious. Many choices including Bahama Breeze, Olive Garden, Cheddar’s, Applebee’s, Bonefish Grill, Mr Dunderbak’s Deli & more!

·      After lunch we will travel over to the World-Famous Daytona International Speedway, where we will get up-close and behind the scenes at the World Center of Racing! Our tour will include the world-famous Motorsports Hall of Fame of America, which showcases spectacular displays honoring great achievers in all forms of motorsports: Stock Cars, Sports Cars, Open Wheel, Motorcycles, Drag Racing, Off Road, Land Speed Records, Powerboating and Aviation. It’s the only place in the world where you will see all these forms of racing under one roof. We will also get a tram tour around the Track and race areas.

·      After checking into the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Daytona Beach, we will enjoy Dinner & Show at the “Polynesian Fire Luau” in Daytona Beach. The performers of Polynesian Fire will captivate you during live Polynesian music, ethnic dances, and Samoan fire knife performances. Take a journey through the Pacific Islands at our luau dinner show, with live music and buffet dinner.

· After a hot breakfast buffet, we will continue our journey south to McKee Botanical Gardens in Vero Beach. Experience a diverse collection of Florida’s most extraordinary foliage and botanicals. With more than 10,000 plants. McKee's unique 18-acre lush jungle landscape supports one of Florida's most extraordinary botanical collections. DAY ONE
• Upon arrival in St Augustine, we will have LUNCH at Hurricane Patty’s (included).
• After lunch we will have a narrated scenic boat cruise and enjoy a unique view of the city and St. Augustine’s historic landmarks and natural beauty.
• We will check in to Hampton Inn St. Augustine Hotel - Hilton.
• A little time to relax and freshen up before our Narrated Trolley Tour of The Lights of St Augustine. Get into the holiday spirit on a trolley tour of St. Augustine’s annual Nights of Lights Festival. Hop on the trolley, sit back, and enjoy the dazzling illuminated views, from more than 3 million lights, along the city’s Historic District. Dinner on own St. George Street after our Narrated Trolley Tour of The Lights of St Augustine.

DAY TWO
• Enjoy a hot breakfast at our hotel then spend the remainder of your day aboard the Trolley Tour at your own pace with on/off privileges. Relive the story of the first settlement in North America as you visit Castillo de San Marcos, the Spanish fort build in the 17th century. Visit the world-famous spring that Ponce de Leon deemed the Fountain of Youth. Explore the site of the first Mass in America at the Mission of Nombre de Dios. Experience early St. Augustine as you tour old St. Augustine Village, featuring houses from the 18th and 19th centuries.

• Old Town Trolley Tours makes stops at the Old Jail, St. Augustine History Museum, Potter’s Wax Museum, the Spanish Military Hospital. Visit the San Sebastian Winery; Explore Flagler College, built by Henry Morrison Flagler, and industrialist, railroad pioneer and oil magnate, who originally used the building as a hotel then known as Ponce de Leon hotel

• Explore over 500 years of history and over 100 points of interest. You will receive a detailed map of the trolley route and the attractions found at each stop. The St. Augustine Pirate & Treasure Museum offers an exciting and educational museum that features over 800 authentic artifacts celebrating the history of piracy, both factual and fictional, from the 1600’s through present day.

• The 21 stops make it convenient for guests to disembark for shopping, dining, visiting attractions and exploring the historic city on their own. End your Trolly Tour at St. George Street with many restaurants and unique shops for some shopping and a bite to eat before heading for home.

• Our adventure begins as we make our way to Callaway Resort and Gardens! We will make a lunch stop (OYO) as we travel to the resort. After our late afternoon arrival and check in, The Lodge & Spa features guest rooms with lovely lake, woodland, and garden views. A little time to freshen up and then enjoy a delicious holiday-style Dinner Buffet.

• Enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet, followed by a tour of the gardens with an informative step-on guide.

• The guided tour includes the Ida Cason Callaway Memorial Chapel, Inspired by 16th-century Gothic chapels, it is highlighted by a variety of materials native to the region, including fieldstone quartz. Beautifully crafted stained-glass windows depict Georgia pines, softwoods, and hardwoods, coming to life in vibrant colors as the four seasons progress. The majestic sounds of the chapel’s custom-built Möller pipe organ ring out during seasonal concerts.

• The Cecil B. Day Butterfly Center, where typically 1,000 or more butterflies flutter freely about in one of North America’s largest tropical butterfly conservatories.

• The Callaway Discovery Center, Virginia Hand Callaway (1900-1995), co-founder of what was originally called Ida Cason Gardens, was passionate about connecting man with the natural world. The Discovery Center also houses an auditorium, art exhibits, an education wing featuring our Crawleseum, the Discovery Amphitheater, where you can experience our Free-Flighted Birds of Prey Shows and the Discovery Gift Shop. The 35,000-square-foot facility is the logical starting point for your tour of Callaway Resort & Gardens.

• After our guided tour you will have time for lunch on your own. With a variety of tempting restaurants to choose from at Callaway, there’s something to satisfy everyone. Guests will delight in Southern specialties, pub favorites, healthy fare, and elegant, creative cuisine. Time to explore the gorgeous surroundings at your own pace.

• You may want to rest up before another delicious Buffet Dinner followed by a beloved holiday tradition shining even brighter this Christmas season!

• Climb aboard the Jolly Trolley for a dazzling journey along the classic seven-mile Fantasy In Lights drive-through experience, adorned with 10 million twinkling lights and 17 dazzling Christmas scenes!

• Then step off the Trolley and into the Callaway Christmas Village, into a forest of twinkling lights, gigantic snowflakes and larger-than-life ornaments surround you. Stroll through a forest of decorated trees on Christmas Tree Lane, stop for some hot chocolate, and seasonal shopping at the Christmas Market.

• Enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet, included, before we leave our beautiful surroundings this morning and head to Roosevelt’s Little White House State Historic Site Warm Springs, built in 1932 while governor of New York, prior to being inaugurated as president in 1933. He first came to Warm Springs in 1924 hoping to find a cure for the infantile paralysis (polio) that had struck him in 1921.

• Our personal tour will include the Little White House, the FDR Memorial Museum, a 14-minute video, the Guest House, Servant’s Quarter, Legacy Exhibit, Walk of Flags & Stones, and Gift Shop. Getting to the Little White House is an outside walk, so please dress for the weather.

• After our tour of the Little White House we will stop for lunch, included at The Bulloch House Restaurant, where Southern hospitality is not just a saying. It's a way of life that exists in the food and charm at the Bulloch House in Historic Warm Springs, Georgia.

• After lunch the day continues with a visit to Adcock Pecans in Tifton, GA. If you like nuts this is the place for you! You can choose from a variety of Nuts. The Kickback menu changes daily and includes salad and a different soup or chili is offered nightly along with different hot items from Alfredo Penne Pasta, BBQ sliders, potatoes, mac & cheese, hot dog & bun, mixed vegetables, Chips, Salsa & Nacho Cheese and more.
