SIXTIESMANIA is known not just as a band playing 60’s music, but as a show that recreates the sights, sounds and feelings of a decade that changed the world, covering everything from the Beatles British invasion to the music of Woodstock and everything in between, and after!
Come join the American Quilters Society (AQS) at the Ocean Center Convention Center in Daytona Beach, Florida for two days filled with stunning quilts! Participate in exciting quilt classes, attend engaging lectures, and browse through a variety of fabrics, notions, and more in the Vendor Mall.
DAY ONE
· We will start our journey to Daytona for our exciting two days of Quilts, Quilts and more Quilts, we will have rest breaks, and a late breakfast (OYO) stop along the way.
· After breakfast we will travel to the Ocean Center Convention Center for one of the largest Quilting Shows in the state of Florida. Concession stands available.
· After checking into the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Daytona Beach, we will enjoy a Dinner Buffet at “BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse” in Daytona Beach.
DAY TWO
· After a hot breakfast buffet at our hotel, we will return to the Ocean Center Convention Center for a full day of exploring the Quilting Show with Workshops, Lectures and Special Events.

Renninger’s hosts the Antiques and Collector’s Extravaganza at Renninger’s in Mount Dora, FL. An antique lover's dream! One of the largest gatherings of antique dealers in the south. Nearly 800 venders from all over the country come in to set up and sell out in the show field, in the antique center, and under the pavilions, selling all types of vintage and antique merchandise. Two large buildings and a number of open-air shopping areas house a wide variety of dealers from produce stands, clothing shops, and oddity vendors, to high quality antiques and collectibles. Outside of the indoor antique center, you will find the Street of Shops. A series of small buildings line paths and walkways full of wonderful antiques and merchandise.
Robert Neary and the band perform 20 of Neil Diamond’s greatest hits. Songs like “Cherry Cherry”, “I Am, I Said”, “I’m a Believer”, “Solitary Man”, “Holly Holy”, “Coming to America”, “Sweet Caroline” and so many more. Between songs, Neary shares the stories behind the music, drawing from Neil’s own interviews, quotes, and autobiographies.

Lunch at The Pirates House – Southern Luncheon Buffet - Savannah’s World-Famous Pirates House is located on one of the most historic spots in Georgia. Seven blocks west from where General Oglethorpe landed in 1733. It was first opened in 1753 as an inn for seafarers, and fast became a meeting point for pirates and sailors from the Seven Seas.

Day Three – Macon GA
Following breakfast this morning, we will have a tour of the First Girl Scout Headquarters & the Andrew Low House Museum. The Girl Scout Headquarters formerly the carriage house for Juliette Gordon Low’s adult home, which is currently called the Andrew Low House, was willed to the Girl Scouts of Savannah, GA, Inc. upon her death in 1927. The building has served Girl Scouts longer than any other building in the nation. Girl Scout First Headquarters was declared Savannah’s first National Historic Landmark. The Andrew Low House is a masterclass in 19th-century architecture and grace. Built by Scottish immigrant and wealthy cotton merchant Andrew Low for his wife Mary Cowper Stiles Low and their six children, this stately mansion is more than just a historic site: it’s a beautifully preserved window into Savannah’s past.
Depart for Macon, Georgia, nestled in the heart of the state, it is a city rich in history and Southern charm. Renowned for its antebellum architecture, Macon is a treasure trove of historic sites.

A stop on the way at The Museum of Aviation. The museum is situated on 51 acres next to Robins Air Force Base in Warner Robins, Georgia. The facility includes four climate-controlled exhibit buildings which house some of the 85 historic U.S. Air Force aircraft, missiles, cockpits and award-winning exhibits.
After our tour, we will continue our journey home with appropriate stops on the way.
