Today travel to Savannah with lunch stop, on your own. Upon arrival we will check into the Hampton Inn Savannah Hotel Historic District - Hilton - for a two-night stay.

Day Two – Savannah
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a 50-minute tour of Savannah’s Historic Area on a Horse Drawn Carriage. Step back in time with our Public History Tour and explore the rich tapestry of Savannah, Georgia, from its colonial founding to its current standing as “The Most Beautiful City in North America.” Stroll along lovely tree-lined streets and admire restored homes and buildings, some dating back to the 1700s. Immerse yourself in the history and charm of Savannah. Our knowledgeable guides are eager to share fascinating stories and insights, making each tour a unique and educational adventure.
Lunch at The Pirates House – Southern Luncheon Buffet - Savannah’s World-Famous Pirates House is located on one of the most historic spots in Georgia. Seven blocks west from where General Oglethorpe landed in 1733. It was first opened in 1753 as an inn for seafarers, and fast became a meeting point for pirates and sailors from the Seven Seas.

Day Three – Macon GA
Following breakfast this morning, we will have a tour of the First Girl Scout Headquarters & the Andrew Low House Museum. The Girl Scout Headquarters formerly the carriage house for Juliette Gordon Low’s adult home, which is currently called the Andrew Low House, was willed to the Girl Scouts of Savannah, GA, Inc. upon her death in 1927. The building has served Girl Scouts longer than any other building in the nation. Girl Scout First Headquarters was declared Savannah’s first National Historic Landmark. The Andrew Low House is a masterclass in 19th-century architecture and grace. Built by Scottish immigrant and wealthy cotton merchant Andrew Low for his wife Mary Cowper Stiles Low and their six children, this stately mansion is more than just a historic site: it’s a beautifully preserved window into Savannah’s past.
Depart for Macon, Georgia, nestled in the heart of the state, it is a city rich in history and Southern charm. Renowned for its antebellum architecture, Macon is a treasure trove of historic sites.

A stop on the way at The Museum of Aviation. The museum is situated on 51 acres next to Robins Air Force Base in Warner Robins, Georgia. The facility includes four climate-controlled exhibit buildings which house some of the 85 historic U.S. Air Force aircraft, missiles, cockpits and award-winning exhibits.
After our tour, we will continue our journey home with appropriate stops on the way.

Our adventure begins as we make our way to Myrtle Beach, SC with lunch stop (OYO). Our first night will be at the Drury Plaza Hotel, Pooler, GA for a one-night stay, where we will have a relaxing evening and enjoy the Drury Inns KICKBACK! The Kickback menu changes daily and includes salad and a different soup or chili is offered nightly along with different hot items from Alfredo Penne Pasta, BBQ sliders, potatoes, mac & cheese, hot dog & bun, mixed vegetables, Chips, Salsa & Nacho Cheese and more.
DAY TWO
Enjoy a delicious breakfast. Today we will continue traveling to Myrtle Beach, SC, where we will check into the Sea Watch Resort, for a three-night stay.

Brookgreen Garden’s w/boxed lunch –upon arrival a boxed lunch will be served. We will then learn about the tidal creeks, the surrounding land, and the significant history of the colonial rice plantations that once comprised Brookgreen Gardens. Stroll through the gardens and learn the history of Brookgreen Gardens, as well as the sculpture of Anna Hyatt Huntington and other notable sculptors.

Dinner this evening at The Original Benjamin’s Calabash Seafood Buffet Step inside and enjoy not just incredible food but a true nautical dining adventure. Known as the best Myrtle Beach seafood buffet, our landmark restaurant introduced the Grand Strand to authentic Calabash-style seafood — lightly battered, perfectly fried, and served with Southern hospitality.

The Barefoot Queen Riverboat Cruise - North Myrtle Beach and the Grand Strand of South Carolina is rich in history and known for its beautiful waterways and is the perfect place to enjoy beautiful views, music, cocktails, and fun. A 70 ft. authentic wooden riverboat featuring two heated/cooled interior decks and three outdoor deck spaces to enjoy fresh air. On board entertainment and narration are also included on each cruise. The lunch consists of a sandwich, chips, cookie and drink.

Hopsewee Plantation Tour & Lunch - Built circa 1740, some 40 years before the American Revolutionary War, Hopsewee Plantation was one of the South’s major rice plantations. It’s also the birthplace of Thomas Lynch, Jr., one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence. The house is furnished with 18th and 19th century antiques, has much of the original woodwork and glass. Now privately owned, the tour of this National Historic Landmark includes stories of the patriots and planters who owned Hopsewee and the enslaved people who worked and lived at Hopsewee.
River Oak Cottage Tea Room at Hopsewee - The newest jewel on this gracious property is the River Oak Cottage.Named one of the state’s top tearooms, its English tea service is flavored with Hopsewee’s southern charm along with a delectable assortment of sweet and savory treats.
