Join us for a comedy mystery show where you become the detective and solve the crime! A hilarious comedy mystery where all the clues are presented, and you help solve the crime. Enjoy a delicious dinner as you formulate insightful (and not so insightful) questions for the live interrogation. After dinner, each table gets to ask questions and uncover additional clues. It’s improvisational comedy that will have you in side-splitting laughter!
Your evening concludes with a yummy “mystery” dessert as you make your final guess as to who committed the crime. Then, watch as our detective unveils the actual criminal and then awards fun prizes to those of you who were successful Sleuths!

LUNCH (OYO) at The Columbia Café, in the Tampa Bay History Center on the Tampa Riverwalk. The Café creates the charm and flavor of the original Columbia Restaurant in Ybor City and offers Spanish and Cuban inspired dishes that has made the over 110-year-old restaurant famous.

Based on P.L. Travers’ beloved book series of the same name, Mary Poppins became an immediate hit when it premiered as a movie musical in 1964. Forty years later, Cameron Macintosh conceived of an enchanting stage musical that combines elements of Disney’s film with material inspired by Travers’ books. In the musical, Bert, a jack-of-all-trades, invites us into the world of London, England in 1910 — and, specifically, into the dysfunctional home of the Banks family. Jane and Michael, the young Banks children, have sent yet another nanny packing, dismissing these children as hopelessly and irrevocably spoiled and misbehaved. With a father who works constantly and mother who is always distracted, Jane and Michael have suffered without strong caretaking forces in their lives. Then the magical Mary Poppins flies in on the wind, bringing with her a combination of whimsy, magic, and disciplined common sense to the children’s lives. Together, they go on memorable and magical adventures — and learn the importance of a tidy nursery and of taking the medicine they need (with a spoonful of sugar, of course.) Mary Poppins’ transformational influence does not stop with the children — eventually, she teaches the grown-ups, as well, to open up and realize that “anything can happen if you let it.”

Based on the hit Adam Sandler movie, The Wedding Singer’s sparkling new score does for the ’80s what Hairspray did for the ’60s. Just say yes to the most romantic musical in twenty years.

It’s 1985, and rock star wannabe, Robbie Hart, is New Jersey’s favorite wedding singer. He’s the life of the party until his own fiancée leaves him at the altar. Shot through the heart, Robbie makes every wedding as disastrous as his own. Enter Julia, a winsome waitress who wins his affection. As luck would have it, Julia is about to be married to a Wall Street shark, and, unless Robbie can pull off the performance of a decade, the girl of his dreams will be gone forever.

American is sailing between New York and England with a comically colorful assemblage of passengers: Reno Sweeney, a popular nightclub singer and former evangelist, her pal Billy Crocker, a lovelorn Wall Street broker who has come aboard to try to win the favor of his beloved Hope Harcourt (who is engaged to another passenger, Sir Evelyn Oakleigh), and a second-rate conman named Moonface Martin, aka “Public Enemy #13.” Song, dance, and farcical antics ensue as Reno and Moonface try to help Billy win the love of his life.

Who has the right to tell your story? Fable explores the nature of memory through the eyes of two very different show business siblings. When one sister wants her version of events made legendary on the Broadway stage, the other is pulled into a tug-of-war over the truth of things long past. “Fable” by Doug DeVita is a captivating play that delves into the fascinating backstory of the legendary musical “Gypsy”. The story primarily focuses on the perspective of another character in the show’s iconic family: June Havoc. Sisters June Havoc and Gypsy Rose Lee’s loyalty to each other is tested in a mounting battle between fiction and truth.
This performance includes some adult themes and mild language. Audience discretion advised.

Ca’ d’Zan – With 36,000 square feet and 56 rooms, the Ringling’s’ opulent winter home Ca’ d’Zan was meant to impress! Completed in 1926 after only two years of construction, the mansion quickly became a social hub in Sarasota. Today, Ca’ d’Zan offers a glimpse into John and Mable’s taste and lifestyle, transporting visitors back to the glamorous age of the Roaring Twenties.

This will be a self-guided tour. Time to wander at your own pace, including a self-guided visit through Ca’ d’Zan’s first floor.
