The Arcadia Rodeo holds the title of the oldest rodeo in Florida. Its rich heritage dates all the way back to 1928 when the American Legion needed to raise money for a new building and had the idea of hosting a rodeo to make it happen. The Arcadia All-Florida Championship Rodeo, Inc. has evolved from its pioneer beginnings to a national sport drawing top athletes from all over the nation.
