This Year’s 21st Anniversary Scenario - Scottish vs. English. Step into the year 1333, where thundering hooves and clashing steel echo across the Scottish borders!  This season, the Sarasota Medieval Fair brings history to life with the legendary Battle of Halidon Hill.  Amidst royal rivalries and fierce ambitions, two powerful kings command their forces in a dramatic showdown, one seeking to defend his homeland, the other determined to claim a throne. But worry not, this isn’t your dusty old history class. Our battlefield becomes a living chessboard, where bold champions move to the command of their kings in a grand human combat match. Strategy, spectacle, and swordplay await, all in good fun and with a few surprises for the whole family.  Whose tactics will triumph? Whose bravery will shine? The outcome lies in the game... so choose your side, cheer your champions.

So many fun things to do!  Plenty of old historic oak trees with lots of shade and seating.  Come enjoy the day with us.

The history so presented is a play on actual accounts of the stories and legends
of the characters involved during this time period.  

 The festival is an outdoor event, held in a natural park-like setting.  Wheelchairs and motorized wheelchairs are welcome. Guests are welcome to wear medieval costumes! No outside food or beverages may be brought into the festival.

The atmosphere of the park will be illuminated by an incredible display of holiday lights, including the city’s magnificent 60-foot Christmas tree.

Enjoy Tampa’s largest Lighted Boat Parade along the Hillsborough River in Downtown Tampa on board the Yacht Starship. During this 2.5-hour cruise guests will enjoy a holiday buffet dinner, excellent water views of the annual Downtown Tampa Holiday Lighted Boat Parade (weather permitting), DJ entertainment, and dancing on the top deck. While en route, passengers view decorated homes in Bayshore Drive, Harbour Island, Davis Islands, and downtown Tampa as the area transforms into a winter wonderland. Highlights include a 35-foot-tall LED lighted Christmas tree that floats in the harbor, a floating gingerbread lighted display, and a lighted pine tree forest. Hotels, restaurants, and bars along the Riverwalk will also have their own festive lighted displays, contributing to the atmosphere of magic.

You’re in for an unforgettable Gasparilla Invasion Brunch Cruise, as we travel to meet the Pirate Ship Jose Gaspar and the Pirate Invasion Flotilla as it departs Ballast Point in Hillsborough Bay. Enjoy close-up views while cruising alongside the flotilla as it crosses the Bay. Yacht StarShip is the largest vessel in the flotilla and guests will experience a once in a lifetime viewing of the Invasion. Before the flotilla turns into the downtown channel, Yacht StarShip will exit the flotilla and proceed ahead, providing a great view as the hundreds of boats condense into a small channel. Subject to Coast Guard approval, the cruise may return to the Convention Center dock and remain dockside where we will have front row views and witness the flotilla as the pirate ship arrives at 1 PM.

Welcome to THE CHOIR OF MAN, the best pub in the world... Come ready to drink in the excitement! Set in a traditional British or Irish pub, the show features a working on-stage bar from which pints of beer are poured for the audience during the performance. Throughout the show, the cast of nine multi-instrumentalist singers perform arrangements of well-known Pop and Rock music arranged and orchestrated by the show's Musical Supervisor Jack Blume, while dialogue takes the form of spoken word monologues written by performance poet Ben Norris. The movement direction and choreography are by tap dancer Freddie Huddleston.

Brimming with hits from artists such as Queen, Luther Vandross, Sia, Paul Simon, Adele, Guns & Roses, Avicii and Katy Perry to name but a few, this is a pub like no other! An uplifting celebration of community and friendship with something for everyone - including free beer! Enjoy feel-good, foot-stomping entertainment unlike anything else. The first round is on us.
