This Year’s 21st Anniversary Scenario - Scottish vs. English. Step into the year 1333, where thundering hooves and clashing steel echo across the Scottish borders!  This season, the Sarasota Medieval Fair brings history to life with the legendary Battle of Halidon Hill.  Amidst royal rivalries and fierce ambitions, two powerful kings command their forces in a dramatic showdown, one seeking to defend his homeland, the other determined to claim a throne. But worry not, this isn’t your dusty old history class. Our battlefield becomes a living chessboard, where bold champions move to the command of their kings in a grand human combat match. Strategy, spectacle, and swordplay await, all in good fun and with a few surprises for the whole family.  Whose tactics will triumph? Whose bravery will shine? The outcome lies in the game... so choose your side, cheer your champions.

So many fun things to do!  Plenty of old historic oak trees with lots of shade and seating.  Come enjoy the day with us.

The history so presented is a play on actual accounts of the stories and legends
of the characters involved during this time period.  

 The festival is an outdoor event, held in a natural park-like setting.  Wheelchairs and motorized wheelchairs are welcome. Guests are welcome to wear medieval costumes! No outside food or beverages may be brought into the festival.

Classic Rock icons Three Dog Night with Special Guest Herman’s Hermits starring Peter Noone return to Ruth Eckerd Hall! THREE DOG NIGHT, celebrating nearly 6 decades, claims some of the most astonishing statistics in popular music. In the years 1969 through 1974, no other group achieved more top 10 hits, moved more records, or sold more concert tickets than THREE DOG NIGHT.    

THREE DOG NIGHT hits wind through the fabric of pop culture today, whether on the radio where they are heard day in and day out, in TV commercials or in major motion pictures -- songs like “Mama Told Me (Not To Come)”, “Joy to the World”, “Black and White”, “Shambala” and “One” serve to heighten our emotions and crystallize THREE DOG NIGHT’s continuing popularity.

Recently, THREE DOG NIGHT began adding new songs to its arsenal by releasing its first double-A sided single in nearly 25 years. The blistering performance of "Heart Of Blues" and the timely, beautiful a-cappella ballad "Prayer of the Children” are available online at iTunes, Amazon.com and other digital retailers as well as through the official band website.

THREE DOG NIGHT also pushed boundaries by recording with the London Symphony Orchestra, giving fans new and old a chance to experience its dynamic performances of the hits as well as several new songs.  

Herman's Hermits a rock and pop group formed in 1964 in Manchester, they gained immense popularity during the British Invasion, scoring eleven Top Ten hits in the U.S. from 1964 to 1967 and selling over 40 million records worldwide. “Mrs. Brown You’ve Got a Lovely Daughter.” “I’m Into Something Good,” “Can’t You Hear My Heartbeat” and “Listen People.”

The band is best known for their lead singer, Peter Noone, and remains a beloved act from that era.

Cirque Spirit of Christmas Stage Show This Cirque-styled Christmas show features dazzling acrobatics, feats of flexibility, and high-flying stunts. This Broadway-style spectacle centers around Noel, a child dismayed and distressed by the hustle and bustle of the holidays. Trying to recapture her lost love of the season, she is visited by spirits who bring back the true meaning of the season in energetic, dreamlike chapters. After ICE! we will head over to Disney Springs for Dinner OYO at one of the many restaurants located in Disney Springs.  Approximate arrival 3:30PM.
