Fallen Pine Farm was founded in 1978 when Norm and Judy Middleton bought five acres and three miniature horses to run with their four quarter horses in eastern Sarasota County. Over the years, their ranch grew to its current 40 acres and over 100 miniature horses. Today, the farm is home to many national champions and quality horses. The history so presented is a play on actual accounts of the stories and legends of the characters involved during this time period.
The festival is an outdoor event, held in a natural park-like setting. Wheelchairs and motorized wheelchairs are welcome. Guests are welcome to wear medieval costumes! No outside food or beverages may be brought into the festival.
