The Sunset Safari provides an opportunity to see these magnificent animals at a time of day when they are most active.

We invite you to walk through our internationally known historic outdoor art gallery with over 50 beautiful larger than life murals.  Some of these murals have sound, while most of them have hidden items.  Also, you will find 17 unique one-of-a-kind trash containers, all companion pieces to the murals, 45 bird plaques, over 27 clown cut-outs, a life-size bronze Florida black bear and so much more.

A mural tour book will be available to help you explore "The Town of Murals" at your own pace, without missing any details. Stop in the shops and have lunch (OYO) as you explore the Town of Lake Placid.

Our next stop will be the TROPICAL WINERY located in the Florida Heartland Region. Discover the magic of Florida in every glass at Tropical Winery. A certified family winery that produces wines inspired by the exotic flavors of tropical fruits.

The Arcadia Rodeo holds the title of the oldest rodeo in Florida.  Its rich heritage dates all the way back to 1928 when the American Legion needed to raise money for a new building and had the idea of hosting a rodeo to make it happen.  The Arcadia All-Florida Championship Rodeo, Inc. has evolved from its pioneer beginnings to a national sport drawing top athletes from all over the nation. Events held at the Arcadia Rodeo include bareback bronc riding, steer wrestling, calf scramble, shootouts, team roping, saddle bronc riding, tie down roping, barrel racing and bull riding.  

For 98 years, the Arcadia All-Florida Championship Rodeo’s Granddaddy of ’Em All has hosted the World’s Top Athletes in PRCA Rodeo to compete for a chance to make it to the national finals in Las Vegas.
