DESCRIPTION:Nights of Lights festival turns the city of St. Augustine into a dazzling holiday display! Selected by National Geographic as one of the ten            \n\n\n\nBEST HOLIDAY LIGHTING DISPLAYS IN THE WORLD! \n\n\n\n DAY ONE \n\n\n\nAs we begin our journey to St. Augustine\, with appropriate stops along the way. \n\n\n\nLunch upon arrival in St Augustine at the Sunset Grille. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAfter lunch\, we’ll visit The Castillo de San Marcos\, the oldest masonry fort in the continental U.S. Built by Spain to defend its territory\, this National Monument is over 327 years old and the oldest building in St. Augustine. Enjoy a self-guided tour with park rangers and historians providing information\, reenactors performing cannon demonstrations\, and exhibits about Spanish colonial life. During emergencies\, settlers sought shelter inside the fort and used its cannons for defense. You’ll also find historic markings and drawings on the coquina walls left by British and Spanish soldiers.          \n\n\n\n We will check in to Hampton Inn St. Augustine Hotel – Hilton for a 2-night stay.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNarrated Trolley Tour of The Lights of St Augustine. Get into the holiday spirit on a trolley tour of St. Augustine’s annual Nights of Lights Festival. Hop on the trolley\, sit back\, and enjoy the dazzling illuminated views\, from more than 3 million lights\, along the city’s Historic District.   \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDinner on own St. George Street after our Narrated Trolley Tour of The Lights of St Augustine.                                              \n\n\n\nDAY TWO   \n\n\n\nBreakfast this morning at our hotel. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Whetstone Chocolates factory tour\, known as St. Augustine’s “Original Chocolate Tour\,” we will get a behind-the-scenes look at chocolate making\, from the history of chocolate to the artisanal production process. Enjoy a four-tiered tasting of chocolates\, fudge\, cocoa nibs and other confections while walking through the factory and learning to distinguish the subtle characteristics of each type of chocolate. \n\n\n\n\nSan Sebastian Winery tour founded in 1996 is located at 157 King Street\, St. Augustine\, Florida in one of Henry Flagler’s old East Coast Railway buildings located just a few blocks from historic downtown. American wine making dates back to 1562. Self-Guided Tour and Wine Tasting. \n\n\n\nLunch will be on St. George Street with many restaurants and unique shops for some shopping and a quick bite to eat. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis evening we will view the spectacular St. Augustine Nights of Lights along the bayfront aboard the Victory III and experience St. Augustine’s dazzling Nights of Lights from the water! This scenic boat tour offers a breathtaking view of millions of holiday lights illuminating the historic cityscape\, creating a magical and serene experience you won’t forget. The bottom deck is covered\, and the top deck is open to the air and sky. \n\n\n\nDAY THREE                                                                                                                 \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAfter a hot breakfast at our hotel\, we will check out and then spend the day aboard the Old Town Trolley at your own pace with on/off privileges. Visit the world-famous spring that Ponce de Leon deemed the Fountain of Youth. Explore the site of the first Mass in America at the Mission of Nombre de Dios. Experience early St. Augustine as you tour old St. Augustine Village\, featuring houses from the 18th and 19th centuries. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOld Town Trolley Tours makes stops at the Old Jail\, St. Augustine History Museum\, (Free admission with Trolley ticket)\, Potter’s Wax Museum\, the Spanish Military Hospital. Visit the San Sebastian Winery; Explore Flagler College\, built by Henry Morrison Flagler\, and industrialist\, railroad pioneer and oil magnate\, who originally used the building as a hotel then known as Ponce de Leon hotel. \n\n\n\nExplore over 500 years of history and over 100 points of interest. You will receive a detailed map of the trolley route and the attractions found at each stop.
